Tourist apartments in Altura
Our tourist apartments are in Praia de Alagoa, Altura, in the municipality of Castro Marim in the eastern Algarve, about 10 km from the Spanish border.
Across our three complexes — Turcongel, Altura Park and Avenida Park — you can choose accommodation for a holiday with family or friends. Turcongel and Altura Park have one- and two-bedroom apartments; Avenida Park has a studio and one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Praia de Alagoa is excellent for swimming, with a calm, shallow sea and a long stretch of fine sand for walks along the shore. To the east are Praia Verde, Monte Gordo and Vila Real de Santo António; to the west, Manta Rota, Cacela Velha and Ria Formosa.
Altura has a good choice of restaurants serving Algarvian and Mediterranean cooking, along with other cuisines.
The area is ideal for cycling and walking in Ria Formosa, the Castro Marim marshlands and along the River Guadiana towards Alcoutim.
Several golf courses are nearby, about 5 to 10 km away.
At the Vila Real de Santo António marina, you can hire a boat for sport fishing, travel upriver on the Guadiana or cross to Spain.
